Mr Joelmir Beting is a Brazilian economics journalist and he defends that most of the current commodities price rise is due to speculation. Since the financial bubble busted due to low interested rates throughout the globe, investors and speculators had no place to run because of the subprime, housing crash of Aug ‘07 — it began with oil.
