Hi, my name is Diogo and I write landyield.com to bring information in English about Agriculture in Brazil. I have lived in the United States (2000) and Argentina (2005) prior to moving to Japan, my home since April ‘07. As an undergraduate in Brazil my major was International Relations at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (class of 2005); in Japan I began my master’s at Kobe University’s Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies (class of 2010).
landyield.com is a connection between Brazil and the world and to show relevant, new data. I will publish weekly texts written by me and comment daily news — my intention is to mainly cover some aspects related to today’s agriculture in Brazil, such as (1) the food crisis, (2) bioenergy, (3) poverty and social issues, (4) environmental sustainability and (5) the Brazilian government.
